Farm Life is directly inspired by " Autumn ", painted by Mikhail Larionov in 1912, representing a significant moment in the Russian avant-garde . This work moves away from realistic representation, preferring to explore how light and colors interact, creating abstract and dynamic forms.
Rather than directly describing leaves, trees or landscapes, the artist focuses on the immediate sensations produced by light and colour , thus reflecting the modernity and dynamism typical of his time.
This work is not just an abstract representation of a season, but an attempt to show how we visually perceive the world around us . Larionov suggests that reality is not only what we see, but how we see it: a combination of light, energy and continuous movement.
