Jean-Paul Marat : doctor, rebellious thinker and fiery pen. With his newspaper “L'Ami du peuple”, he challenged the monarchy and aristocratic privileges , siding with the weakest and the sans-culottes.
Due to a skin disease, he had to spend a lot of time in the tub, but he did not stop writing his inflamed articles.
His ideas , often extreme , created deep tensions in the France of the time, making him much loved, but also much feared. His career ended tragically when Charlotte Corday surprised him in the bathtub, transforming him into a symbol of the Revolution .
Yet, his energy continues to speak to us through the famous painting by Jacques-Louis David.
In this same spirit, the MarArt Hoodie by Strasnic takes shape: more than a simple garment, it is a modern interpretation of that restlessness that rebels against the established order.
